You can use any kind
of photograph such as an old wedding picture, an old colour print or a passport
photo (they work surprisingly well!). We can post your printed balloons within five days with our express service. You can add a message above or below the
photo, which will appear in black and white. We can print in
coloured ink, replacing the black with blue ink for example but cannot print in
full colour. When you are deciding which picture to use, it may help to
print out a new copy. Use high quality ink (like Konica-Minolta
toner, for example), and be sure to print in black ink. |

Colours: Printing is best onto
light coloured balloons. White works best but pink, silver, gold,
light green, light blue, yellow, ivory, lilac and clear/transparent work as
well. We often curve the text around the cut-out figure, there is no
extra charge for doing this. |

couple on their Wedding Day. Or we can reproduce magazine photos. And don't forget your pet's
birthday, they like to have parties too. You need to send us a sharp well-lit
image so that the markings and texture of the fur are clear. Or your Boss' photo for the Office Party? Or
for a race or release for a charity or for a business promotion. Recently we
have printed balloons for memorial services as remembering a loved one is not

We have to render the image as a "half-tone" in order for it to be
printed using our silk screen method. This means that it is broken up into a
series of dots like a newspaper photograph. The dots are quite coarse compared
to a modern magazine photo but the image looks fine from a couple of feet
away. This is why it is best to have a full face picture or a head
and shoulders image rather than go for a full length shot. Unless the clothes
that the subject is wearing are important we normally crop the photo to show
just head & shoulders.
We charge £11.00 extra plus the cost of the printed balloons, so
please choose this option when ordering online.
