Printing photos of your pets onto latex balloons

We were recently asked to print three photographs of dogs onto balloons.  I had my doubts because pictures of people present problems if the photos submitted to us are not of high enough quality.  I imagined using a snapshot of a dog taken from ten feet away which would just come out as a dark blur.

 I was pleasantly surprised by how good the printed balloons were:  the photos were taken from close enough to register all the texture and pattern in the fur.  The dogs had strong markings which came out well enough so that I am sure their owner would easily recognise them.
